19th Asian Games 2023

*TODAY: Men's AA Final

Postponed by a year due to the Covid19 pandemic, the 19^th Asian Games 2022 began today, 24 September, in Hangzhou, China, where teams and individual competitors from 19 countries are taking part in the prestigious multi-sport event, including a high-profile artistic gymnastics team for the host nation.
Many top athletes have chosen to compete here rather than at the World Championships in Antwerp, Belgium, where qualifiers begin the day after the Asian Games end. Others are taking the long flight and six-hour time difference to compete in both events, especially those for whom an Olympic spot is at stake.
Athletes from Russia and Belarus remain barred from taking part after a last-minute withdrawal of a contrary intention.
* After team victories in the women's and men's Team events, runner-up ZHANG Boheng wins the third gold medal for China in the all-around event, but also the fourth golden medal after women's all-around final went to China by ZUO Tong (53,565) ..:
