French double success at the International ZAG Junior Cup 2022

France I gewann ZAG-Trophae 2022

"... great ability, high level!" - this is how chief organizer and international referee Joerg Niebuhr judged the French team's double success at the 8th International ZAG Junior Cup 2022, which Germany's Premiere Club club TuS Vinnhorst (Hanover) was able to firmly establish in the international competition calendar in a relatively short time.
Behind the teams FRANCE I (223.600) and FRANCE II (221.45), the German team from TZ Bochum-Witten came closest to the guest duo with 219.250 points and took third place. The other places were followed by the Eastern Switzerland team, the Netherlands KNGU  team I ahead of Zurich I and Germany's Saxony-Anhalt team from SV Halle...

Behind Nathan CAMILLERI (75.450), the best of the 7 leading French (!)  and Linus Eisenring from East Switzerland (68.950), Travis PICHLER (GER/SV Halle; 68.850, 9th place) finished in the top ten as the best German gymnast, followed by his club colleague Anton BULKA (68,300) in 10th place.
* AK 13/14 --: Here Florian GRELA (GER/TZ Bochum-Wttten) impressed as the best in front of the guests from Switzerland and France ...
* AK 12 --: Nathan SHULKIN (GER/ TZ Bochum-Witten) scored an impressive 69.600 points in front of Dani Sheper (NED) and Lower Saxony celebrated third place from Matvey FOKIN (67.300), son of the ex-international parallel bars specialist Anton Fokin, who successfully in Lower Saxony acts as a youth coach.

* FINAL DAY of the 8th International ZAG Junior Cup 2022

The new regulation in this year of offering apparatus finals to the individual age groups on the second day of competition after the main competition of the teams was generally welcomed by all those involved and guests.
Not only was it a complete success, but the young gymnasts also took this opportunity to acquire competitive strength - a welcome challenge not only in the post-pandemic times. In this context, thanks also go to our  supporter, the ZAG Personaldienstleistungen as our sponsor, who has continuously and effectively supported this international competition opportunity for young gymnasts from the very beginning on.
Thanks also to the "Turnclub Deutschland", which took over the premium money for the first place winners and the trophies this year.
