Mikolaj Kubica, one of the legendary Polish brother trio of the Sixties passed away ...

Informed from his family we are very sad to report, that yesterday, on July 19, the middle of the three Polish gymnastics brothers, Mikolaj KUBICA, died in his Polish hometown of Radlin. Together with his younger brother Sylvester, who had also passed away, and with the oldest Wilhelm KUBICA, the three often formed half the Polish national team at the major international events in the 1960's as a legendary trio. Mikolaj and Wilhelm started at three Olympic Games in 1964 (Tokyo), 1968 (Mexico City) and 1972 (Munich). In 1968 and 1972, youngster Sylvester added to the Olympic family trio, which in Munich was ranked fourth between the GDR squad in third place and the FRG team in fifth place ...:
