Japanese are aiming for a team medal...

The Japanese men s team arrived in the Olympic City and started its pre-Olympic training. It had been for almost a week in Stuttgart s Artistic-Gymnastics-Forum in order to prepare for the Olympic Games.
After winning the bronze medal at the World Championships 2003 in Anaheim the men around president Mitsuo Tsukahara and double World Champion of the previous year, Takehiro Kashima, are aiming for even more in Athens...

Kotzurek will take over Hofmann's job
Peter Kotzurek, from 1996 to 2003 head coach of the Swiss men's national team, will during the course of next year take over the job of Dieter Hofmann as head coach in the Swiss gymnastics center 'Kunst- und Geräteturnzentrum Liestal (NKL)'.
Hofmann will retire after 13 years of successful work....

At the last weekend of July the Italien men's Olympic team won its friendly meet against Spain with 223,500 : 219,75 points.
