One week ago in the hard test of a control competition Komrsková was beaten by Jana Šikulová (aged 15). Jana is a good all around competitor, a great talent: 'And I was finishing the secondary school and I know very well, that the decisive results will come in one and the half months time. I have a large wish to be able to take part in 2004 OG with a complete Czech team! '
Jana Komrsková (Zlín), cured after one year the uneven bars World Cup finalist Kateřina Marešová (Brno), Veronika Ožanová (aged 16, Ostrava), Jana Šikulová (15, Brno) have already their places in the team. Two other experienced gymnasts Zuzana Oboňová and Petra Chytilová are probably out because of injury. The Championships however offered next two talents, 15 years old slim girls, Adéla Pavouková and Barbora Surovčíková. What a miracle, both came from country clubs!

The National Championships in Artistic Gymnastics was held for the first time together with trampolines and took the whole area of the nice ice-hockey stadium. The winners were bringing from the city of Ostrava a wrist watch Longines.
