'A decisive competition'
Octavian Belu said that the Romanian Internationals was a decisive competition. 'It's the start of a long way with it's goal being the Olympics next year. We have made a small step, but a very important one. Yes, I would have liked to compete against stronger adversaries but on the other hand, I'm satisfied with how the girls have performed.' Oana Petrovschi competed with her right ankle protected by a splint. The gymnast is still recovering from her injury. Belu: 'There's no sense of forcing things here. She only competed on bars because it doesn't effect her ankle.'
