SC Berlin: Retirement from German s Premier League

SCB - Retirement from German Bundesliga

Germany's most successful gymnastics club, the SC Berlin pronounced its retirement of the 1st BUNDESLIGA, the highest league of men's artistic gymnastics in Germany.
Team chief Siegfried Wuestemann spoke from problems in the personnel structure: There are not enough adult gymnasts, to start into the competition season this autumn.

The SC Berlin developed in history such international wellknown athletes, like Olympic champion Roland Brueckner (Floor, 1980), Wolrd champion Michael Nikolay (Pommelhorse, 1981) or at last Olympic and world championAndreas Wecker (High bar 1995, 1996).
The club hopes for a come back in a couple of years with its young talents again...
