Jowtschew - The NUMBER 1!!

After his successes of the world cups in Paris-Bercy, Cottbus and Thessaloniki the Bulgarian Jordan JOWTSCHEW is the NEW NUMBER ONE now of the GYMmedia World Ranking List. After Alexei Nemow, leading from the beginning 1996 to 2002, and after Ivan Ivankov (BLR) now Jovtchev is the third gymnast on the top of this ranking. Russia is the only one nation with three gymnasts among the TOP TEN.
Paul Hamm, Blaine Wilson and Sean Townsend are ranking on 15 to 17 places.
The best Australian is Philippe Rizzo (32) and Kanukai Jackson (GBR) improved from 126 to 80 position...

Svetlana Khorkina got ranking points again at the French International in Paris and also in Thessaloniki; so she made firm her position on the top, in front of her team mate Elena Zamolodchikova.
After the Romainian Olympic Champion of Atlanta, Gina Gogean (1996-98) now Khorkina is leading, only one times interrupted by Simona Amanar (December 2000 bis März 2001).
Floor World Champion of Debrecen, Elena Gomez jumped from 22nd to 12th place,
Elisabeth Tweddle improved from 44 to 29 and the European AA Junior Champion Anna Pawlowa started with a very good position 43!
France have placed the most gymnasts in the GYMmedia World Ranking List: Ludivine Furnon is the best of all together 14 French gymnasts on 34th place.
Romania is registered with 10, USA with 9 and Russia, Netherlands, Ukraine and Germany with 8 gymnasts...
In the topical list are included are all together 202 male gymnast from 44 nations and 162 femal gymnast from 32 nations.
