Ten years after the separation of the Czech and the Slovakian gymnastics family took place a friendly meet between this two sovereign nations last weekend in Bratislava (SVK).
The guests from the Czech Republik won this dual meet with a score of 139,400 : 127,975 points.
Jana Kommrskova was the clearly best gymnast with 35,60, followed by more 5 Czech gymnasts.
Best of the Slovakian host was Jana Drabikova (32,20) on sixth place...

The reigning German all around champion Katja Abel from Berlin was the winner of the second German trials in preparation of the coming world championships in Anaheim.
Abel won with a score of 35475 points. Birgit Schweigert (Turnteam TOYOTA Cologne) was leading after three apparatusses, but she crashed two times at uneven bars. So Lisa Brueggemann (TTT Cologne) came on second place, after a mistake at the Jaeger sault on bars.

The 15-years old Andreea Munteanu from Constanta won the all-around competition of the Romanian Nationals last weekend in Bacau with a score of 37.635 points.
On second place came Alexandra Eremia (37,400) and the bronze medal went to Dana Safronie (37,200).
The last official test of the Romanian squad before the coming world championships in Anaheim (August 16 - 24) will be a dual meet against Italy at July, 19....

The Ukrainian top star Alexander Swetlitschni was the All-around winner of the XV. International Boavisto-Tournament in Porto (POR) with a score of (54,30).
On second place came the Brasilian Michel Conceicao (54,30) and third was Felipe Bezugo (53,10) from host Portugal

In the juniors category the young Dutch Jeffrey Wammes (52,75) won ant behind him came the European bars junior champion 2000 Waldemar Eichorn (52,30) from Dillingen (Germany).
On third place came Victor Rosa (50,80)...
