    Bad Luck for Jana Komrskova

At a competition in Prague at the beginning of November the Czech National Champion and Olympic participant from 2000 Jana Komrskova injured her foot and had to undergo surgery in hospital.
According to the doctors she will not be able to take part in the events in Switzerland and at the DTB-Cup in Stuttgart at the end of November.
The Czech team doctor Dr. Lubos Hrazdira calculates with a training break of 6 - 8 weeks and says not before January 2004 she will be able to train again...

  	 Unlucky fellow Komrskova
It has not been the first injury for the best gymnast of the Czech Republic this year.
Shortly before the World Championships in Anaheim she had a bad landing on vault and injured her ellbow. Her arm then was in a cast for several weeks. Usually she had planned to take part in competitions again at the beginning of November when she again had bad luck...
Now she also is not able to take part in the last highlights of 2003 and walks on crutches in her hometown Zlin. However, her mother and coach Zdena Komrskova is optimistic: 'Submit the audience in Stuttgart greetings from us!' Luckily Czech Republic has one start place at the Olympic Games in Athens 2004 where Jana with more luck certainly wants to take part.
