WORLD GYMNASTICS: Artistic Gymnastics World Cup Circuit 2026

The World Gymnastics Federation (formerly F.I.G.) has once again announced six events for the World Cup series 2026 in artistic gymnastics: The series will kicked off in February in Germany with the ‘Tournament of Masters’ in Cottbus, February 19 - 22). After the two World Cup events in March (Baku/AZE and Antalya/TUR) now in April, should be three World Cups in quick succession: first in Cairo/EGY (April 03-06) and now in Osijek/CRO (Apr 10-12)...
!! ... but the third event in Doha/QAT was cancelled (March 20) by the host in light of the current situation in the Middle East,
* World Gymnastics informed, that the event will not be postponed!
Consequently, the Executive Committee has also approved the following exceptional adjustment to the Rules regarding the number of highest results to be taken into consideration for the Rankings calculation:
The three (3) highest results (out of five competitions) per gymnast, per apparatus, will be considered regardless of the number of competitions the gymnast(s) participated in to determine, the Apparatus World Cup Ranking list (winner of the Series) and the the WCH Qualification World Cup Ranking list (World Championships qualification pathway for Apparatus Specialists).

 C O M M E N T :

"Increasingly often – as was the case at the World Cup in Osijek (CRO) – organisers are making it more difficult to access up-to-date results online by introducing password-protected workarounds via various social media platforms.
We cannot offer these ‘data detours’ to either us journalists and independent media agencies, or to our readers and sports enthusiasts, as they represent additional work and unreasonable obstacles to accessing data. Links to these social media platforms are equally out of the question!
Consequently, we must unfortunately refrain from reporting on such events.
It may be that the immediate fans of the gymnastics disciplines are satisfied with the quality of the social media reports.
They do not meet journalistic or professional standards!"
Consequently, the European online service G
YMmedia INTERNATIONAL is discontinuing its World Cup coverage, as our sponsors are also withdrawing their support!"
