2004 Olympic champions on T.J. Maxx tour

From September 18 on the T.J. Maxx Tour of Gymnastics Champions is on tour across the USA, featuring members of the 2004 U. S. Olympic Team. The high-flying T.J. Maxx tour format combines elements of Cirque du Soleil-style modern performance art with elite gymnastics to push the boundaries of athleticism and gymnastics to all-new levels. The Tour is runnning September 18 to November 28 and will stopp in 39 cities....

Carly Patterson (USA), Olympic all-around champion

The top athletes set to perform include all six 2004 women's U.S. Olympic Team members: Courtney Kupets, Carly Patterson, Courtney McCool, Terin Humphrey, Annia Hatch and Mohini Bhardwaj.

On the men's side, silver medalists Jason Gatson, Brett McClure and Guard Young will tour, along with team alternates Raj Bhavsar and Steve McCain.
ybr> Rhythmic gymnastics Olympian Mary Sanders, trampoline Olympian Jennifer Parilla, and world champion Sports Acro athletes Shenea Booth and Arthur Davis are also planning to participate. Also on the program are a pair of Cirque du Soleil veterans, aerial stuntman Russ Stark and aerial hoop-dance artist Emilie Therrien.

Team USA left Athens with nine medals, the sport's highest medal count since 1992. The U.S. women garnered six total medals, including all-around gold and balance beam silver by Carly Patterson, a team silver medal, a vault silver medal by Annia Hatch, uneven bars silver by Terin Humphrey and uneven bars bronze by Courtney Kupets.
