Melanie COLEMAN, a 20-year-old gymnast at Southern Connecticut State University (USA), died on Sunday, November 10, after suffering a serious spinal cord injury during training. On Friday, the Milford, Connecticut, native was training at New Era Gymnastics when she slipped off the uneven bars, according US media. Two weeks after the 40th Women's World Championships of artistic gymnastics in Stuttgart attracted numerous spectators from all over Germany today (27 October) in the Leverkusen Ostermann Arena. Against the backdrop of 1,600 spectators, the selection team1 from Germany won the coveted LEVERKUSEN CUP 2019 with 100.90 points.
Second place went to the national team from England with 99.70 points ahead of the team of "Topturns Zuid den Bosch" from the Netherlands (97.050).
