HAPPY NEW YEAR all Members of GYMfamily!

♦♦ After 30 years, GYMmedia INTERNATIONAL
       is scaling back its daily event coverage.

♦ Although our cross-border service offering, which provides daily updates on the most important sporting events across a wide range of gymnastics disciplines, is attracting an ever-growing readership, it has not led to sufficient synergy effects with associations and/or structures of the sports. As a result, we are no longer in a position to bear the steadily rising costs of continuing the bilingual GYMmedia portals in the long term.
* With effect from 2026, January 1st on we will therefore be restricting our daily GYM reporting!
♦ However, the GYMmedia portal → www.gymmedia.de will continue to be available as a media service provider to all those who, as "Member of GYMfamily" wish to continue to publish their events / news / reports etc. on our highly frequented portal in the German/European language area with maximum media impact!
♦ This also applies to our English-language portal (→ www.gymmedia.com), especially for internationally relevant events/news/reports, as we are accessed daily in well over 100 countries in our fourth decade of existence!
♦ ADVANTAGE: Journalistically sound, structured, daily media information for comprehensible use by a large, sports-interested public!

♦ Whether and to what extent it makes sense to continue
our globally unique web presence of the GYMmedia portals – possibly in the form of an additional(?) journalism/commentary channel geared towards high journalistic and independent standards at ► www.gymfamily.eu 
... will be revealed in the coming days and weeks of the new year through discussions and contacts with our existing and/or future partners.
To this end, we naturally also need many of the intelligent and reputable practitioners and partners of our valuable GYM disciplines!

Whether the continuation of the GYMmedia traditions in the form of a media-based GYMfamily concept, which has not yet been finalised, is feasible depends not least on our readership, whose opinion we are very interested in! In our search for competent and reputable colleagues, we want to build up a pool of qualified authors who can contribute their serious thoughts, opinions and ideas on current events in the world of gymnastics in their respective disciplines.
