The 15-years old Andreea Munteanu from Constanta won the all-around competition of the Romanian Nationals last weekend in Bacau with a score of 37.635 points.
On second place came Alexandra Eremia (37,400) and the bronze medal went to Dana Safronie (37,200).
The last official test of the Romanian squad before the coming world championships in Anaheim (August 16 - 24) will be a dual meet against Italy at July, 19....

The Ukrainian top star Alexander Swetlitschni was the All-around winner of the XV. International Boavisto-Tournament in Porto (POR) with a score of (54,30).
On second place came the Brasilian Michel Conceicao (54,30) and third was Felipe Bezugo (53,10) from host Portugal

In the juniors category the young Dutch Jeffrey Wammes (52,75) won ant behind him came the European bars junior champion 2000 Waldemar Eichorn (52,30) from Dillingen (Germany).
On third place came Victor Rosa (50,80)...

BAGA-info: -- Beth Tweddle (Liverpool) achieved a very impressive hat trick at the 2003 British Championships for Women, cheered by the enthusiastic crowd at the jam-packed Spectrum, Guildford.
She put together an overall score of 35.550 points to win the All-around title, followed by Rebecca Mason (Sandbach), 34.650, Silver medal, and Vanessa Hobbs (Dynamo, Portsmouth), 34.250, Bronze. ..

Germany's most successful gymnastics club, the SC Berlin pronounced its retirement of the 1st BUNDESLIGA, the highest league of men's artistic gymnastics in Germany.
Team chief Siegfried Wuestemann spoke from problems in the personnel structure: There are not enough adult gymnasts, to start into the competition season this autumn.

The reigning Junior European balance beam champion Florica Leonida led her Romanian team to victory over France and Netherlands at a tri-meet held last weekend in Toulon, France. The Romanian gymnasts finished first through fifth in the all-around standings.
On sixth place came the first French gymnast Marine Debauve (34,750).
Best Dutch gymnast was Gabriella Wammes on 13th place, but the Dutch team started without their stars Verona van de Leur (injured) and the Dutch champion Suzanne Harmes...
