II. European Cup: Orleans wins in Charleroi

Orleans vs Lille in the Sunday's Final
The French team of Orleans, winner of the first event of Saturday's semi-final, was also the best in the Sunday's final competion:
Orleans won against Lille with 165,388 : 158,438 points.

In women's category the team of Brixia beat the girls from Lissone (both Italy), with 105,925 : 104,900 points.

In Rhythmic gymnastics - also with two Italien clubs - Fano won clear against Gallarate (267,550 : 260,475)...

Saturday's SEMI FINAL, reported by UEG:
In men’s gymnastics, the game between Hanover, without Toba and Nonin, as announced, and Lille was exciting until the last routine. After five rotations, the two teams where separated by only 0,25 points. The last apparatus for both teams was the high-bar. Gaétan Dupont, the best French boy, has obtained 9,413 for his routine (start value 10.0). Kharkov, with 4 spectacular flying elements and a good reception pushed his team with 9,050 points to the final qualification.

Heathrow in women’s gymnastics was competing without any input guest. So it was very hard for the young English girls to fight against the two other clubs Lissone (qualified for the final) and Charleroi (bronce medal),which was qualified as the hosting club.

In rhythmic gymnastics, the Italian club from Fano took the lead after the first rotation and won this game very easily thanks the good routines from Laura Zacchilli, a world top-ten gymnast, and the Georgian input Inga Tavdishvili. The young Belgian girls from Verviers, with their team leader Donatienne Geron, hjave been for this event qualified after the retreat of Montpellier and Oduba.
Three teams have played their first Joker successfully: Hanover (pommel horse), Charleroi (floor) and Lissone (beam).
