Becky DOWNIE retains All-around and dominated the British Nationals

In absence of Beth Tweddle, starting at the Univeriade in Belgrade, Nottingham's Becky Downie has become British Senior Artistic Gymnastics Champion for the second year running with her winning score of 56.100 taking her ahead of Becky Wing of Heathrow and Marissa King of Huntingdon.
The battle of the Olympian Becky’s proved to be the highlight of the event with both girls competing in the same group, and the final result only being decided on the last piece of apparatus of the day, the floor.
Winning three of four finals Becky was the most successfully gymnast of these Nationals.
For Marissa King, her 3rd place and first ever all-around medal crowned a welcome return to the gymnastics scene for her after Beijing.
