The 2012, 2016 Olympic all-around gold medallist Kohei UCHIMURA (JPN)  missed the podium at both of gymnastics' global events in 2021. The 10-time world champion ends his career now at 33 and announced his retirement on Tuesday. The announcement was made through his management company. The European Gymnastics Federation (EG) announced that after the venues Munich / GER (11-21 August 2022) and Antalya / TUR (18-23 April 2023) the 2024 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS will take place in the Southern Italian 3 million -Metropolis of NAPLES: The 46th ECh for men is scheduled for April 24-28, 2024, the 45th Womwen's ECh will follow from May 1st to 5th.
